Zhongli Venice Cinemas sits at No. 48 Jiuhe 1st St, toward the rear of the station on the Xinsheng Rd side behind SOGO, about ten minutes on foot from TRA Zhongli. The location settles one thing: when the credits roll, you're standing under ten minutes from the core of Zhongli's night. The only question left is which screening you watched.

Out of the 7pm show: just after nine, the whole night still ahead
The 7pm crowd has it easiest — out just after 9, as Zhongli's night gets going. Eat first if you haven't: Ershijiu Izakaya at No. 144 Sec. 2 Zhongmei Rd, 900+ reviews at 4.8, skewers and drinks a few minutes' walk from the cinema; for a bistro seat, head to Datong Rd — Liangshan Bistro at No. 118 and 1.91 Bistro at No. 105 (300+) are tables Zhongli people take after work.
Energy left: Kai Yue Zhongli at No. 136 Datong Rd, 3,400+ reviews at 4.8, rooms until late; Cashbox Zhongli Zhongyang at No. 88 Zhongyang E. Rd, 4,300+, both within ten minutes on foot. Out of the 9:30 show: around midnight, only drinks and massage
Leaving at 11:30 or midnight, most kitchens are done. Don't look for food; look for drinks and hands. 920 Lounge Bar at No. 62 Datong Rd, Sanjiang Izakaya at No. 120-5 Sec. 2 Zhongyang W. Out of the midnight show: past 2am, only the station is awake
Midnight-show people come out after 2. Zhongli at that hour is the station area. Walk ten minutes from Jiuhe 1st St back to TRA Zhongli; the late shops around the front of the station stay open longest — supper stalls, convenience stores, the taxi rank. Some bars there run to 3 or 4, check on the spot; to go home, flag a cab.

The cinema has partner parking — check its notice — but if drinks are on the programme, don't bring the car at all. Zhongli station is ten minutes on foot, last TRA train around midnight, then taxi or designated driver.
